干完活，搜得一篇朱苏力对杨念群儒学地域化的近代形态的书评。第一句话，朱氏便开起了玩笑：
本文其实是一只披羊皮的狼或是一只披着狼皮的羊。
杨，谐羊；不仅如此，还念念不忘群居、害怕落单。朱氏作为法学界人士，受邀参加近代史作品（杨著）研讨会，恰好是一条冲进羊群（披羊皮的）狼。明明是狼，却又说自己不过是“披着狼皮的羊”，则是客气话，以为接下来的尖锐批评作点缓冲。都说朱氏文章写得好，洵非虚誉。
具体如何批评，可以看链接。杨氏此书，我在书店翻过，看了几页，便没兴趣了。虽然，按照我的兴趣，这样的书应该买下来。并非我特别不具耐心，实在是他标点的《杨度日记》，很早以前便让我倒了胃口，根本不敢相信他具备研究历史的能力。作为杨度的曾孙，先不说他是否承继（了解？）了家学，只看他满篇的错字、破句，便令读者愤愤不平，脱口说出不肖二字（其书已埋在书柜深处，那天找出来抄录几段给大家看看）
回头再说一句朱评。朱氏自承不懂历史，可你看他末尾这段话：
我倒是想强调费正清模式的一个优点，是他的这一模式，至少其中译（冲击/回应），给人的印象是，回应并非清醒的、有意识的，而是一种机体的回应。这种有机体回应模式有助于消除近代以来中国在对西方关系上一个更为基本的研究模式，那种纯理智主义的回应模式。机体的回应是在一定意义上是非目的性的，是一种自然的、无意识的回应，是适者生存式的回应，是求生本能的回应；而理智主义的回应模式的错误则在于把中国的回应都智识化、理智化、人格化，仿佛是一个人在同另一个人的博弈。这大约是梁启超的三阶段论的最大弱点。而解毒剂也许就是知识的考古和谱系学的方法，考察知识的血统和出现。而杨念群的著作如果还没有直接讨论这一点，其所运用的材料和所隐含的观点似乎已展现了这一点。
